Kiddush Donation Policy

Please note an important change to kiddush donation policy starting July 2026

Congregants will no longer be able to "sponsor" a kiddush to honour a specific date. Instead, all donations to the Kiddush Fund will be will be directed to the Congregation’s general fund and used to support Adath Shalom’s ongoing religious and communal operations, including congregational kiddushim, refreshments, hospitality, and related community-building activities.

However, donors may request acknowledgement in honour or memory of a person or occasion on a specific date. They also may further subsidize a kiddush on these dates if they wish to provide additional food. All donations will be acknowledged in weekly announcements or similar congregational communications, but such acknowledgement does not restrict the donation to a particular kiddush, date, menu, or expense.

A suggested minimum contribution is $60, but any amount is welcome.
